Marnie happily grabbed the food that Lafayette cooked up. She was wearing her Merlotte's uniforn. A pair of black shorts with white trim and her white tee shirt with the green emblem that says "Merlotte's" on the corner breast area. Her blond hair was pulled into a ponytail. A few shorter strands had hung down and tickled her cheeks. She easily wound her way though the aisles and headed over to table 4. She grinned as she placed the food down.
Sookie was taking orders at table 3 and she could tell immediately Sookie could hear the thoughts of the two elder couples. While her expression wasn't outraged, it was more amused and embarrassed more than anything else
Sam always looks so dang cute Marnie thought to herself. She quckly tried to snuff those thoughts but she knew Sookie heard them.
She hurried over to table 6 and began taking their orders.
Marnie gave the orders to Lafayette. She leaned against the counter. She sighed. Business was normal pace, so that was good. When it got busy, that was when things got hectic. She watched Sam wiping down the counter before she sensed someone coming up behind her. She jumped when she realized it was Sookie. She chuckled.
"you scared the doodoo out of me." Marnie said laughing as she tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear. She watched Sookie.
"thank God it's not too busy now huh?" she grinned at her broadly. A few more customers came into the bar and took seats in the booths and a few at the tables. She wiped her hands on her apron and waited for Sookie to reply.
